Jimmy Evans of Marriage Today Ministries may be one of my new favorite heroes in the Christian world!

After attending Jimmy & his wife Karen’s marriage retreat last fall then laughing my way through their Marriage on the Rock study last semester, I can attest to the incredible wisdom (and fun) they have! To see an excerpt, watch Part 1 of this series.

This message is so powerful. Whenever we’re struggling to find motivation in our lives or lack a sense of purpose/fulfillment, it’s because we need a vision for what we’re doing.

I’m reminded of the gym! Why would we put ourselves through painful miles of running or pools of Insanity-induced sweat without cause? We’d be CRAZY to – unless we had a vision for better health & a fitter body.

I pray we ask God for His vision for why we’re here, toiling every day at work, in relationships, & in play.  Pray that He gives you the vision for what He created you for… so that you may chase after it with passion & joy!
