My Dad sent this song to my siblings & I around the time of Abigail’s birth, and it wrecked me {thanks Dad! haha}.

As a new mommy with a 3-month old going through so many milestones already, I can’t get halfway through this without being all like . {Lest you’re judging me, I dare you to make it through without weeping }. 

I share this in hopes that you & I are reminded how precious this time is with our little (& not-so-little) ones and to love on our babies every day God gives them to us!

I wanna listen often enough to keep in perspective that each day with Abigail — no matter how similar to yesterday it seems — is such a gift and that every day she’s learning & growing & changing. I wanna cherish the season we’re in with her and live in this moment long enough to be able to let go when it’s her time to fly.

Here’s hoping you & I remember to focus less on life’s demands today & instead soak up these precious moments with our babies more.
