‘Social’ Media?

Am I the only one who feels like the more social mediums we create, the less time we spend together?

I’m craving authentic relationships these days… when you talk to real people instead of conversing via cell, while running errands. I miss my in-person friends. I miss having real friendships, real interactions. I want face-to-face, not Facebook!

How can we change this pattern?  If this trend continues, my whole generation will lack almost any true friends.  We will instead feel more connected to the Michael Jacksons and Britneys of the world.

Is this the kind of world we want?  What can we do?
